    • the Side-by-sides have a high and low transmission gear. They can be operated in high on flat ground when you are traveling over 20mph. Low gear is to be used for all slow speeds, trails and inclines. The transmission is belt driven and is very durable, however, excessive strain on the transmission can cause a belt failure. Belt failures are not overly common but under abusive use it can happen and the renter is responsible for the replacement of the belt.
